Once upon a time,
Women were considered as bad as crime.
Capable were only considered to be male,
Now, this is no fairy tale.
Slowly, women realised they were not inferior,
In the fight of equality, they became a warrior,
Feminism rose above the skies,
Women understood that they were free butterflies.
Over time the status of women was better,
Not best, but better.
Feminism spread all across the globe,
It gave women hope,
But pause, what about men and boys?
Didn’t they also deserve the joys?
The idea was about equality,
Not superiority.
Women deserved to be treated the right way,
But so did the men who were kind every day.
Boys are told to be strong,
And be the earning member lifelong.
They have a ton of pressure on them,
You might think they are treated like gems,
But majority of them are not able to be,
What society wants them to be.
Boys are told to not cry,
Or they’ll be considered a weak fry.
Their tears are not accepted,
But this is what leads to them being
defected.
This journey towards something creative,
Somehow generated something negative.
There’s still time to rearrange,
Our mindset and change,
The Society, which will blossom,
As in when we try to not be gruesome,
And think as equals,
‘Cause that’s all it takes to form sequels,
Of kindness,
Of equalnes.
